Training in Psychosomatics

Informations

Every candidate applying for a training in psychosomatics must have completed or be engaged in a psychoanalytic training program held by a psychoanalytic society recognized by the International Psychoanalytical Association.
The training is theoretical and clinical, including the participation in a program of seminars and two supervisions of psychotherapy as well of psychoanalyis of patients presenting somatic diseases. Training programs are established and provided by the Training Committee of the APIPM Training Groups.

THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON TRAINING

The Advisory Committee on training is in charge of all the responsibilities incumbent on the IPAPM in the field of training and qualification

and the Introductory Seminars are organized by the Training Groups of the AIPPM

Any person or group of persons interested to attend a training program as well the introductory seminars in psychosomatics, should contact a Training Group of the Association. In case there are no Training Groups in the region or country of residence, it is possible to apply to the Board of the AIPPM

Introductory Seminars

informations

The Introductory Seminars consist of a series of introductory lectures on psychosomatic theory and clinical approach. According to the program offered by each Training Group, this sensibisation program can also include lectures on specific theoretical and clinical topics.
